BIOGRAPHY
With her love of performance art firmly in place when she began acting at age five, Alexis has since harnessed that passion to become a Registered Drama Therapist and is using the exciting therapeutic practice to change lives for the better.
Alexis graduated from UCLA in 2003 and from NYU in 2010, where she earned her M.A. in Drama Therapy. While in New York, she worked with at-risk high school students, the homeless and mentally disordered, and adults battling drug and alcohol addiction. Since returning to California and beginning her practice, she has facilitated a ground-breaking Drama Therapy program for adults with Down Syndrome at the Down Syndrome Association of Orange County.
She is currently conducting group therapy at several prominent addiction treatment facilities, including Clear Recovery Center in the South Bay and Lido Wellness Center in Newport Beach, where she has been using Psychodrama as well as other Drama Therapy techniques to aid those suffering from alcohol, drug, and sex/love addictions, as well as depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
She has been a featured speaker at the Center for Healthy Sex in Los Angeles and also pioneered and taught an introductory Drama Therapy class for high school seniors at the renowned Orange County School of the Arts. Alexis offers private and independent group sessions and is creating workshops geared toward fine-tuning identity and dislodging what is in the way of success. Her workshops are tailored to the needs of your workplace or academic environment, and she continues to build her repertoire as a speaker on a variety of best mental health practices.
As a new addition, Alexis graduated from Naropa University’s Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy program in 2025 and is now offering Ketamine-Assisted Therapy integration sessions, as well as group medicine experiences in the LA and OC areas. She looks forward to being your guide!
