Anxiety and Depression are two of the most common issues that urge clients to seek therapy
They can be experienced separately, but they often go hand in hand, and can be caused by an acute outlier event or may be something that is struggled with on a daily basis.
No matter the cause, they can be incredibly draining and frustrating, and make day to day living a chore.

What to expect
Within our sessions, we will work on figuring out the root causes of these issues and then find ways to creatively solve the equation of
“why do I feel this way?”
There are some more chronic and persistent cases of depression that may require further medical attention, and if that is the case, our therapy sessions can work hand in hand with other methods of treatment to help guide you on your path to wellness and stability.

Not everyone feels comfortable starting out with 1:1 therapy sessions, especially if you have never sought counseling before. Group therapy helps individuals develop communication skills and socialization skills, and allows clients to learn how to express their issues and accept criticism from others.
Drama Therapy can be used in this setting in a variety of ways, from group work to individual sessions to family sessions, all focusing on tapping into the hidden memories that can be stored within our bodies, and providing them with a platform to release those memories.
A private Drama Therapy session looks different for each client based upon their ultimate goal. For example, a client may come in with goals of increasing self esteem, combating anxiety and depression, decreasing social anxiety, or becoming more engaging.

This complicated life that we lead is incredibly painful. Loss, grief, anger, transition…all things that cause us to stretch and grow also cause emotional discomfort.
